She had an ostomy, and like others in her group, she wanted her stoma quiet and protected. Her son, who worked on buzz, squeak and rattle at an automaker, made a guard from the same sound-deadening foam that goes into car frames to block highway noise. Nine versions later, the Stoma Stifler was born, and her friends kept asking for one.
